My brother and I had a great layout of Lionel trains (my Dad built most of it) when we were kids, and I always loved it. My last house didn't have room for a large scale layout, so I went with a 4' x 8' N Scale layout. In our current home we would have room for Lionel O Scale, but I've got such a load of money (and TIME!) invested in the N scale stuff that it is hard to think about starting all over.

I don't think he considered all factors. LOL But back to the original post, Happy BD vbdad!!!

An off shoot variety is called Uranium Glass (or Vaseline), it has trace amounts of uranium in it. It glows under UV Light (Black Lights). I only have 3 pieces of Uranium glass at this time. I have gotten some peices of authentic not modern carnival glass for as little as 50c. I have few peices of authentic, most of my carnival glass is modern. At this time I do not have the money to collect better peices.
