I then decided I would try my luck on the lotto for the first time in my life. I figured I would buy $7 dollars worth of tickets. After searching all around for a place that sold lotto tickets I finally found a longs drugs. I filled out my first little lotto sheet, and had a few errors. so on the second try I finally got it right and got my 7 picks with 1 free quick pick promo and headed off to dinner with some friends. The entire time at dinner we were all laughing because I was excited about my lotto tickets and I kept claiming I was going to win. I just got home 20 minutes ago and checked the numbers. I WON ^_^ haha! I had one pick with 2 numbers and the mega number and another pick with 1 number and the mega! Of course I called all my friends and told them I won and they thought I was full of it LOL! 3 of my plays had 13 as the mega number and after guesstimating my winnings I figure I'll have about $13 in winnings! I guess 13 is my new lucky number...not 7 as I previously though =P It turned out to be a pretty good day after all and I will be turning in my lotto tickets tomorrow yay! My mom is definetly feeling better now that she has the antibiotics in her system too =) Thanks again guys! All the wishes gave me one more reason to smile today! =D

We had a great time, crowds were a bit heavier but I couldn't have asked for better weather! Mom is feeling a bit better but her infection is still hanging around and causing pain. We are off to the doctor again in an hour so we will see what he says, she may need to be put on stronger antibiotics. Thanks for the well wishes and good thoughts! They are definetly helping =)
