    I was thinking of something along the lines of Luke defeating the Emperor and becoming the new Sith Lord (a la Kyle Katarn). That would have gone over real well with the fans, not!

    I don't think it would have been very popular, but you could have squeezed 3 more movies out of it. It would be racing Rocky for the most number of sequels.
