Rehash of the same.. rehash of the same.. bleeding the idea dry.. rehash.. same idea.. rehash.. living characters despite the public's overwhelming "meh" response to them, and rehash of Nemo for umpteenth time.

We don't hire dancers who can only do one dance, painters who can one paint one picture, or musicians who can play only one song.. heck we open chastise singers for only being able to sing one good song... but we laud these "designers" and their super secret fortress of solitude for doing the same thing 12 ways for the last 5 years running..

I think that they did AIM to some extent, but with insufficient means to get to their goal, Spirit. When they debuted, E:E and M:S were touted along the PR line you mentioned, yes, but they DID have a great reason to be. M:S is still one of the more realistic and technologically sound Space rides created. It's problem isn't in that. It's the fact that it replaced something else, and is JUST a ride...not a full pavilion like it was planned to be in 1978...in 1986...in 1994, even.

Same with E:E...It's a great coaster, can certainly sit up there in the big leagues, but it's problem is uniqueness. Is it THAT revolutionary? Nope. It tries to be, seeing it has a (non working) HUGE AA Yeti, and has a interesting ride configuration, and details galore, but it's aiming for the top without the extra degree or "umph" or WOW factor that so many OTHER Disney projects have had.

That's the WDW of the 21st century, to me, at least. Trying to be bigger than they are through SOME additions, mostly PR, and as I know you to say...Recycled Magic.

Details galore before the top of the mountain.

I think they should serve Haggis.

What do you mean non working?

It's suppose to be "Disco Yeti".

I got ya. Just making sure I point it out, haha. Still, at least they kinda tried on that one, minus a huge engineering blunder, something that grinds my gears.

Not even. We rode it 5 months after opening (if that) and the Yeti was broken every time. And the smoke effect in the station only worked once out of the three times we rode. One of my major disappointments. EE was what convinced me it was time for a WDW trip

This makes me glad that I rode it four or five times during CM previews. My dad didn't go with me, and he's wanted to ride it--but we're not going to spend time or money to go see a headlining attraction whose AA star is in disco-mode.

Those screens will be turned on in a decade or so when SSE has another refurb.
