We have a suite located somewhere other than the 6th floor, does that make a difference because we are not actually on the 6th floor? Anyways, it is such a beautiful day at DL that I am just so HAPPY that we are here!!!!

I think we were on the 9th or 10th floor. Just a couple floors below the concierge lounge. It was a great trip - but wouldn't pay that much again. Nice, but didn't feel like we got much for the money.

Our original rooms were on the 3rd floor, literally the last suite at the end of the last hall way. It was a big walk from the rooms to the concierge's lounge but the rooms were really nice and big. It was a two bedroom suite with plenty of room for the kids to run around. The view was not that great, it was of Soarin and some backlot area of California Adventure. Anyways, we had no hot water!!! The water was lukewarm at best and my son actually slipped in the tub because the water turned ice cold and caught him off guard. I am not a very demanding person but at $1500 a night, I do expect hot water. After several phone calls later, I finally got an answer to our problem, there was something wrong with the water and the mangager asked if we would be willing to move. All he told us was the the room was a lot nicer than what we had. We are locals and when we stay at GCH it is not to visit the parks but to enjoy the hotel, so you can imagine our surprise when we were led to the Mt. Whitney suite. The place was so huge and amazing. We truly enjoyed our trip and our new room. I still cannot believe that we stayed there!
