Im pretty sure thats going to be the last big rush before Memorial Day weekend. And I'm going the Thursday before for my birthday so hopefully we'll miss some of the crowds. If you are going this week, schools are in and it's supposed to be rainy. So you're golden. As long as you dont mind a little h2o.

It never did rain, wasn't too hot, and very thin crowds, all in all, a VERY good day at DL.

Originally Posted By mickey42397 It probably would be a waste of time since the threat of rain will cause a lot of folks to plan on leaving the park early and not staying for the fireworks. You should be able to get a decent spot IF there are fireworks tonight. Don't worry about the thunder, it doesn't last long if it comes and I don't think the rain will be too serious either. As long as you know you should expect it and you are ready to wear ponchos it shouldn't spoil your fun. Have a great time.
