The last one I had was on January 26th this year in DeFuniak Springs Florida. I was on my way to WDW. It was covered in Secret Sauce, and I got a large Fries with that. It was three in the afternoon, and that was all I had to eat that day. Sad when you can remember a junk food meal that well! The older you get the tougher it is to shed those pounds. Body metabolism counts a whole lot when you are trying to lose weight. That's why I think jonvn has it right about weight loss. It doesn't hurt to try though.

You can go look up the stats for yourself, but since you seem to know better about these things than medical research, I suppose the actual information is of no real importance to you.

Actually, the thing is if you are morbidly obese, you need to take care of it as it will affect your health. The most successful thing going right now is surgery. That's the only thing with any chance of working. And it doesn't work all the time, either. About a 25% failure rate.

Smoking is so addictive - and I find it so sad when I see teens smoking knowing that will be a life struggle for them. Obesity is also a sad way to start out a young life, because it too will always be a struggle.

We're continuing our bad behavior and dieting, but countering one negative side effect with a pill. What about all the other side effects of living a sedentary life and eating too much? Diabetes? Obesity? The people who trumpet their low cholesterol are probably just going to die of some other self-inflicted illness as a result of poor health choices. You can only prescribe so many pills before it just becomes ridiculous.
