    Gag.

Maybe I missed it, but does this refurb have anything to do with the new Guillermo DelToro flick coming out in 2012? The timing is right...

    Good point.

WDWNT is spouting bullocks, as usual.

    Stranger things have happened.

But, hey. I think it would at LEAST wait for the movie release.

Some idiot almost hit me on the road today because she thought nothing of texting at 55 mph.

This tech thing is annoying beyond belief.

I also wouldn't expect hatty anymore than I'd expect an Imagination refurb ... but I might expect the Monsters Door To Door coaster at TPFKaTD-MGMS again :)

Baxter is all over Hatty, though. It's been in the works for DL for a while, even for both resorts.

I even hear that they have been constructed.

Would putting one AA in really be a big deal?

And with the Del Torro film on it's way, the ~*~*~*~*~*SYNERGY~*~*~*~*~*~* is inevitable.

Del Toro talks "Mansion" & "Madness"

Putting in an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, filmmaker Guillermo del Toro spoke with Collider about two of his upcoming film projects - the H.P. Lovecraft adaptation "At the Mountains of Madness" and the 3D "Haunted Mansion" reboot.

'Mansion' will be PG-13 and will be a "dark ride". The storyline was turned in last week to Disney Pictures along with the first few key concept drawings. Matthew Robbins is penning the script and will begin work in about a month, then the studio will make a decision in January which is when he'll decide whether to direct it himself or let someone else take the reigns.

    ===================================
Bringing it sort of closer to topic, what I've heard for a while now coincides with speculation here - The Hatbox Ghost is set for both east and west coast parks. It's just a matter of when they decide to install him.

Bringing this back on topic, I'd love to speculate about this new interactive queue, but that may insight more worrying (in me) that is necessary. Even though I am a local, I missed out on their testing of such a queue over the summer. What some "insiders" have said so far is that it won't be along the likes of Space Mountain or Spaceship Earth. If so, and if WDI is going slightly old school with gags and tricks that catch guests attention before the doors open, that might be fun!

Spirit - I agree with you on folks playing with their phones and such to entertain themselves in line, but since I know some folk who do that on occasion, I feel I can't complain if its their preference while in a queue. Whatever floats our boat, right? (I myself prefer to take pics, or talk to whomever accompanies me.)

I think that is what will be happening. And I'm very excited for that, if so.

Also, LOVE the way Del Torro talks about Mansion. He KNOWS HIS STUFF. :D Very promising.

    TFP, Trinity! :)

As for smart phones, etc. If I am in a waiting room, stupid long line I will use my Droid to play around. One of my favorite things about the wait as always been the people you meet; almost as cool as some of the people you meet on a plane trip.

I am wondering what type of game will be implemented. How will the screens be setup? How much is the pathway going to be changed around?
