I think that detracts from the Mansion more than anything. I also think if they add a lighting flash, back-ground thunder effect for the mansion at night, the hearse will look fantastic right where it is.

When the attraction was open, if one spent five minutes in front of the attraction, there is a decent chance of seeing it. That has been my experience, anyway. I could have been lucky every time I was there in the past 15 months. (Haunted Mansion is not my favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom, but I always ride it at night because of shorter lines)
