Saying that Pixar based attractions fit because Pixar itself is located in California is like rebranding the Electrical Parade as "A California Classic" so as to justify the decision to add it to DCA in an attempt to drive attendance --- weak, weak, weak. Either the new addition is good, or it's not. So much of what was added to DCA was substandard, as was the original park. Now the expectation (hope?) is that the new additions coming down the road will be unique, detailed, and immersive. And fun. And isn't that what we want from Disney attractions anyway? I say rip out the big, golden "CALIFORNIA" letters in the front of the park, add stuff that's amazingly good, no matter what its source material is, and don't ever look back at that miserably poor decision to limit the theme of and everything else in the park to "California".

I most look forward to experiencing a "I can't believe they built THAT" moment. I love when Disney makes the impossible "possible". The attractions I love are almost like riding a realize magic trick. I have faith in the talent. I say to them: "CREATE" what YOU know is good. The rest will follow. And as ArchMig said: Be dammed with the theme - as long as it's good. And don't get into "Analysis Paralysis" Just DO IT !!! the way YOU know it should be.

Yeah, I already said it, if that's all it takes to make a 'theme' out of a park, then that's some pretty pathetic theming going on lol. But it's DCA...I expect nothing less ;D.

I LOVE it! And the coastal ocean rock work you have there is great! Is that San Fransisco all along the current route 66 zone? Thats exactly what should go there! San Fransisco Square along the Bay, right next door to the Pier, right next door to the winery, right next door to the Cannery's, and right next door to the Forrestry. That would be absolutely awesome! Great art work by the way.
