Barry Troxt was fuming, they lost 21 of the first 23 face offs ...and I believe
34 of 48 ....stand to be corrected though can not remember exactly what they said .

--- I was what I would consider a very good player- but one thing I realized as I moved up the ladder- very good doesn't cut it-- and those ( well most of those) who make the NHL are on another level.

But I'd play hockey any time with you Tink -- but no referees as I think our opinions are never going to merge there.

The Canucks were far more the physical agressor almost allseries and with that is going to come more calls- just by the sheer number of 'almost' calls.. just my opinion.

the save on Sharp in OT saved Luongo's job-- and likely a lot of Canucks...I thought it was over.

Poor play by Campoli to give the game away- but I like him as a player and hope they retain him here --

a few real sparks coming up from minors next year- so I expect the Hawks to be stronger-- and if we can find someone to take Campbell we will be stronger by subtraction. Turcot a restricted FA and his $$ will be off the books also.

Both teams traded early chances , that chance was a Great save..that is why they get the big bucks..that was the kind of save he should have been making earlier in the series...

    Campoli giving the game away...

It was a smart play from burrows to bat it down, an old manouver we all did playing ball hockey..but you still had to finish it, over all the Canucks were the better side in game 7, had a decent edge in play but when you have two teams that can strike at any time and have exciting goal keeping , the game is always up for grabs...both teams were only one shot away from moving on.

Todays hockey is unlike yesterdays game, there are just not enough good hockey players around , with so many teams the leaque is pretty well watered down.

As far as the officials go, they just were not consistent..I do not favor this two official system...it leads the way too many missed calls , bring the linesman more into the fold, there have been many officals in the way of the play ,this play off year...

Canucks are in a very boring series, it is not hockey, Nashville comes to force a tie, then take their chances in ot..

For me , the sedins are wasted players
playing on the top line...I would move them to the fourth line....play them on power plays...it would open up Nashville more, we have the Kessler line..Burrows
line putting in hanson and samulson for the top two against Nashville.....by the time the sedins get on Weber and Suter will nbe more worn...they will gain more advantage, they should move more to open spaces between the face off circles and stay away from the boards , just not tough enough against the big boys...

Rinne is playing well, but he is leaving a lot of net open..softer hands , kessler scored a ton of goals high this year all wrist shots...accurate, so far hardly any taken

Play offs are a different thing...Washington is out, top players went to sleeeeeeep except ovie , Bruins
will not sleep....Tampa skated around statues...I look for Boston to win in 5
    out side 6 games...

Sharks should not be up 3-0...Detroit
just unlucky not to have finished...hard for wings now , but if wings step it up, sharks will be in a fight...

Nucks , well all teams have not liked
    this type of nashville game...nucks
must score more often...must open up a two goal lead..force nashville to drop the tie game plan and then hockey will be played...they should win in 6 because i think nashville has another give it all game in them...

NEXT SERIES...will be wide open if nucks win..boring if preds fluke it in...

Sharks will be tough to beat, they have played well all 2nd half...

tell me about it I HATE Nashville's style of play..but be careful about trying to open it up- next thing you know there's a bad bounce and odd man rush and a goal..then you're infor even more drudgery of play.

turns out Campoli was playing on torn MCL- had surgery today..still no excuse for non clearing, but was reason why he didn't have burst to jump back into play.
