You are given a couple of different kinds of drops that you have to use until told otherwise. My metal patch was taken off the next day in the Dr.s office. The worst thing about the patch is that my husband kept saying "ARGGG!" to me. When we arrived at the Dr.s office the next morning it was FULL of people with a metal patch on-which when he saw the waiting room, said "Honey, look, all of your pirate friends are here!" I had the second eye done 1 month later. The hardest thing to get used to was not reaching for my glasses to take off-they aren't there anymore. One other thing that was hard to get used to was the fact that I need glasses to read (just the Walmart variety-2.0 mag), which I had never had to do before. Would I do it again? YES~!
