    You have the mist.
    The smell.
    The visual.

    Plus Heimlich's commentary.

It's 4-d, in reality. Amazing experience.

That's what happened to me. My boys are old enough not to want to do any of those rides anymore (except for ITTBAB).

So there are some advantages to aging I guess.

It is a kid's ride, but it is cute and funny and dare I say it, silly.

    I like silly.

And you are talking about "expected", "ordinary" experiences.

Even the DLRR takes you through some "Unexpected" delights .. like the Grand Canyon, and Primeval World.

I was taught .. the Disney experience was about the unexpected. That's what makes a trip to a "Disney" park special.

But .. just for the sake of your argument .. lets forget about a "show building" scene. How about a track that can make at least one other loop, in a hidden corner that you can't see from outside the ride? Something that increases the ride length .. to something that makes it's worth it, to get on.

And then there is the seat belts. Seat belts! On a ride that travels at 3 mph on level ground for about 2 minutes. For cryin' out loud...

Between that and the non-bumping bumper cars, the whole ride selection "bugs" me.

The theming is charming, and Hiemlich is such a lovable character I just can't stay mad at this little ride. But, yes, it could have been something really special with a bigger investment of resources and acreage.

At a minimum, it would have been nice to have a little bit more movement instead of just static candy corn, watermelon rind and cookie box.
