Walk out of Epcot next time you go, and tell yourself you'll never be going back.

Still, it was the best night I have ever spent there.

I am glad I was around for its final nights and in some ways having the club as I knew it come to an end weeks before as the crowds came made it easier (because of all the memories I have- some of the not fondness are of the last nights where you stood nose to nose in one small area of carpet for hours to potentially get in and see a show.) Course I guess I do need to thank Disney- By closing the club they save me a good 50-100 bucks a month on a bar tab... -em

At least other parks still retain MOST of their classics, and what originally made that park so great. EPCOT only has two of those left. SSE and LwtL.

The exhibits in there are always changing, and always informative. I'm not a fan fo the structural changes to the pavilions, but it's far from dea space. <<The music, and basic feeling of EPCOT is gone.>> To you. Epcot feels no different to me, save for Imagination. As for the music, it's still a great collection of songs. It's just not the old music. <<EPCOT only has two of those left. SSE and LwtL.>> And American Adventure. And basically all of WS. UoE isn't a big departure from the original.

And I am glad the world now has a place to learn of velcro and it's mystery and magic. ;-)

That's not the only thing that matters in a Disney Park, though...What maters is HOW they do it....and putting in things that are not concurrent with the theme, like TT and Nemo take away from the quality of the park. In fact, it's mediocre, the easy way out, not Disney quality. You don't "get" EPCOT by accepting that they tore half of the park away just to grab more guests. ;-) They could have done that, but in a totally different way, and probably with the same type of attractions.

It was truly like a Sea Base thousands of feet below the surface… very few people have ever been there. I think Nemo and Turtle Talk are far better (and more popular) options. Nemo is a charming darkride... really the only one Future World has (if you consider SSE just a darkride there is no hope for you). <<M:S, while nice, the training story always bogs it down.>> The training story is ESSENTIAL and Sinise does a GREAT job. It is the only way to explain why you are getting into a centrifuge rather than a spaceship. <<TT doesn't fit a place called Future World.>> And World of Motion did?? Other than a brief trip through a "time tunnel" it was all about the past. It was charming in it's own way, but nothing new. Even much of the AA had been recycled from old attractions. <<Innoventions is just dead space.>> HOLY CRAP!! You must have never seen it when it was Communicore. The only people ever there were the CM paid to work there. <<The music, and basic feeling of EPCOT is gone.>> Sorry, no it isn't. Epcot still has the most distinctive music of any WDW park. Maybe not quite as "New Age" as it used to be, but "new Age" is yesterday's (20 years ago) news. <<Need I go on?>> Not really. You don't have anything right yet... why continue? ;-)

This satisfied it perfectly. >>> The training story is ESSENTIAL and Sinise does a GREAT job. That would make the attraction near perfect, honestly...It's great as it is. >>HOLY CRAP!! You must have never seen it when it was Communicore. The only people ever there were the CM paid to work there.<< Nope...I remember CCore having a fair crowd. Much more than Innoventions on our past visit... or the year before that...or the year before that. >> Sorry, no it isn't. Epcot still has the most distinctive music of any WDW park. Maybe not quite as "New Age" as it used to be, but "new Age" is yesterday's (20 years ago) news. << The current music is great, I give you that, and I agree. But I was referring to the fact that the original songs and BGM just furthered the ideas of the park so well, and so completely.
