I wish everyone could have a chance to go visit not only TDR but the country of Japan. A friend of mine that just came back from a first trip to Japan(sans TDR) proclaimed to me, "my new favorite place in the world to visit!". And as to be expected, she was amazed at the level of service and how society functioned in general. I am interested in how thw WSJ measured productivity. Sounds like an interesting read.

And our castle wasn't framed by trees originally, either. They let them get over grown. If they would have been kept the original size they were in the 70s they'd have been fine.

It wasn't framed because they hadn't grown yet. But even then, the trees in front of it made it look real. made it look much more organic than it does now.

The fourth of July is fast appraoching and those frenchmen, even though they don't like americans much, beat us at our own game like building a better mousetrap or in this case a better disneyland. << I disagree. There is nothing "squat" or "braced up". I find it graceful, and imposing. It makes a statement. It fits our park very well, where an organic castle, such as DLP's would be grossly out of place. As for it's content, yeah, you got me there.

The trees were there, were of moderate size, and didn't cover anything up. And honestly, it looks like it does now. The trees in our hub, now, aren't very much smaller than the original ones.

Not getting why everyone suddenly wants to beat up on our Castle. Lol. . " Agreed. I MUCH prefer MK's/TDL's castle to the Paris one, which I ALWAYS felt was odd looking and way too pink. Cindy's is just THE EPITOME of what a castle should look like. Gleaming, regal and BEAUTIFUL.
