However, I have to go along with Mr. X on the 3 hours of Kabuki...I would probably do better taking a nap elsewhere. :^/

    Thanks all!

It works out about 5 nights in China and 6 in Japan, here is more info <a href="http://www.travelsphere.co.uk/asia/china/china_with_japan.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.travelsphere.co.uk/...pan.aspx</a>

Its one of the options I'm looking at, another is to do a full 2-3 week tour of China, taking in all the highlights, and adding on a few days in Hong Kong.

One of the tours includes a trip to see the Panda's at the Ya'An Nature Reserve, which lies between Chengdu Plain and the Tibetan Plateau.

Take the Tokkaido-San-Yo line (special rapid is best) from Kyoto Station. Change at Osaka station to the Osaka loop line (Kanju rapid), and then change at Nishi-Kujo to the Sakurajima line for the quick 5 minute trip to Universal City station. The itinerary I looked up was 53 minutes..of course that varies.
