That said, my parents have enjoyed many evenings at the bar at Port Orleans Riverside. They often have a guy who sings jazz/Cajun folk music, and it's a fun party atmosphere

In the parks, I've really only explored the beverage options in World Showcase, but my favorite drinks are the Rose Regale in Italy and the orange slushie from the kiosk next to the lagoon in France; they're both kind of girly, but completely delicious. I also have a soft spot for the hot sake in Japan on a cool day, but it's not for everybody

If you're looking for a bar to spend time in rather than to get a drink to walk around with, El Cava del Tequila in Mexico is a lot of fun, and Spice Road Table in Morocco looks like it has potential (though I've never personally tried it). I've also heard good things about the Tune-In Lounge at the Studios (next to Prime Time Café) and the Dawa Bar in DAK (in Africa)

Dawa Bar is already on our list and the bar at Port Orleans will likely be frequented every evening ;-)

In World Showcase we will definitely have a drink somewhere. Unfortunately WS is mostly made up of Europe and since I'm a beer guy, I already know most beers available there.

I'm not sure about the Tequilla bar at Mexico, because I don't like Tequilla.

They have YeeHa Bob performing there most nights. He's a blast. Lots of fun. I'd recommend seeing him over the Hoop De Doo. And he's a lot cheaper too (free).

Have you tried a really good high end tequila? If you haven't, I'd suggest swinging by the Cava and trying one before writing off tequila. Or try one of their specialty margaritas (I loved the avocado margarita).

I guess I haven't tried quality Teqiulla. When I bought a bottle it was 10 euros fpr 0,75l. So you see we mostly bought the cheap one.

Is it possible to have a drink at Oktoberfest without eating? I guess not.

But is it possible just to take a look inside the restaurant?

I'm not sure if you can get drinks in Oktoberfest without getting food. If you ask, I would assume they'd let you poke your heads in and look around, especially if you told them you're from Austria; I've always found the CMs in the Germany pavilion to be very friendly. If you're looking for a drink in Germany, there's a beer cart near the front of the pavilion and the Sommerfest quick-service window also serves beer. Der Weinkeller ist auch einige mein lieblings ins World Showcase, aber es is nicht so gut ob Sie ein Bier wollen.

It's fine if we can't go into Biergarten. Currently the Oktoberfest is in full swing in Munich and so I was just curious about Disney's take on German biergartens and beer halls.

I'm not sure if we want to have a drink in Germany. The beers are available over here year round.

Your German isn't that bad considering that you never have to use it.

It's a great little bar. A good tequila will be a lot smoother and easier to drink. So if you're going to give tequiila another chance, that's a great place to do it. Try one of the flights to get a variety. Here's the menu:

Thanks! It took a couple tries to get the punctuation and spelling down, but it seems like I still have a decent grasp of it. Every now and then there are certain words that make me think in German, and Weinkeller is certainly one of them!

I'm not sure about the locations that are run by outside vendors, like the restaurants in DTD or the Swan & Dolphin, but I think that all of the restaurants in the parks and hotels should accept the cards. I would assume that any place that accepts Magic Bands would also accept Disney gift cards

Most DTD restaurants will take it, but not all. Most that don't will take your WDW room card as payment and you can use the gift card to help pay off your room.

Check the list of Dining Plan restaurants. If they're on the Dining Plan, they'll take the gift card whether or not they're owned by Disney.

"but I think that all of the restaurants in the parks and hotels should accept the cards."

Assuming they can have a machine that cat swipe the card. Not sure all the vending carts in the park have this capability.

As for the Universal tickets, we decided against Undercovertourist. It isn't cheaper and we will buy them after we arrived in Orlando. The first day after we arrived, we have planned to relax on the hotel pool, to visit the Boardwalk and to drive to the Universal to buy the tickets. We don't want to queuein the morning of our park visits.

A day later we got another email and everything was arranged. Well done Disney!

After we have used our FP+, is it possible to get a regular FP in the parks? Or can I book another one with the My Disney Experience App?

Since it is our honeymoon, we booked the Remy Champagne Brunch and Palo on the ship.

On a side note, the cabanas on Castaway Cay are very expensive. They were already sold out, but I wouldn't have booked it anyway.

After you've used the bonus FP, you can continue to make additional FP reservations 1 at a time, assuming there are still times available

I've never done a Disney cruise, but I've heard great things about both restaurants! I'm sure it will be worth it!
