Last summer we hosted a group of folk dancers and singers as they toured round the local area performing and sightseeing. Now they want to repay the favor. We are sending some demos to clubs in larger cities through a contact we have as well so we may add a NY or Boston date to the itinerary!!!

As it turns out we've been selected to perform in a space that advertised as the only classical busking pitch in the world so in amongst "Oh Boy" and "Lollipop" we now have to work on putting our own stamp on some classical pieces, which is very exciting. But they definitely like us and they definitely want us back so to be considered of that quality is awesome!!!

And then to get really good comments was the icing on the cake. The best thing as well is that they want us to keep our sound, but add some different repertoire so they obviously like what we do. We're currently working on some new classical material (any suggestions gratefully received) and we have a few other gigs lined up so we're balancing what we learn to cover all eventualities. We've also been invited to compete in a local "Battle of the Bands" type competition, but we're quite unique so who knows how we'll fare against actual "bands"!!!
