I thought he had died so I put him in the garbage can, the next morning he was clinging to the rim of the can. I took him out, refilled his sponge and gave new food. He lasted another 3 months or so, but then we went on vacation and my nephew forgot to give him water. I still waited a few days before putting him to rest just to be sure. Honestly the things creep me out.
