He called me shortly after arriving at the GN to let me know he'd hit a FABulous Royal Flush on a $1 machine (a denomination we NEVER play *LOL*) Woo hoo! Eventually, we began moving from the parade staging area, slowly making our way up 4th... as we approached Carson Street (a block before Fremont), here comes Mr. Alice... Grinning ear-to-ear, walking out to my vehicle... carrying one of those 'yards' of margarita - almost empty. He leans in the window and lays a big kiss on me, then presses a $100 into my palm and hollers, "Plenty more where that came from, baby!" *LMAO* The crowd - being in and/or from Las Vegas - didn't seem to mind and my coworker/passenger and I both cracked up and just waved even more madly at them. It was one of those quintessential Vegas moments. And we left for our San Diego vacation the next morning.
