I'm sick of people getting jumped on when they like/don't like something. We all have different freaking tastes. It's okay for people to like somethings and not other things.

Or does thinking that make me a rube?

Also, I love that one day I can be called a Doom and Gloomer and the next a rube. I'm so versatile.

Umm are you bling as well. You think Kim and Tony were going to recreate the HKDL scenes and cause full mass rioting HA! They knew EXACTLY what they were doing and it was ..a wash. The DL characters do not have thier own sets, they had to tone down the music, AND they just took existing Small World dolls and dressed them up. Like the Cindy doll, you can't even tell it's her! Hell, it could be Cosette from Le Miz or something. The Simba and Timon toys have thier eyes closed and done in a more Rolly Crump style. I could go on. They knew they could NOT do it like at HKDL cause then well......all hell woulda broken loose.
So yes, that massive campaign and bad PR put WDI and TDA in a hugely defensive position, even going so far that Tony had to lie about miracously finding concept art at ,,...ComicCon?? Mary Blair original art at ComicCon and not the Archives???? PLEEEEEEEEEASE.... I DID go to college

I didn't say 1995 Disneyland, I said ORIGINAL Disneyland. Half the stuff you mentioned didn't even exist then. I'm talking DISNEY PURITY, DAMMIT! Lets take it back to how it was the day it opened. Let's go for the REAL DEAL!!

Oh... I get it. You don't want it like it ORIGINALLY was. You just want it like it was in YOUR first memories. Well, wouldn't we ALL just love that in any Disney Park? Sad truth is, everyone's first memories occurred at a different time. What makes your first memories any better than anyone else's?

It is to laugh. Again, the crying and whining worked.

And it was so much better like that before "Disney Does Motel 6" Resorts, sporting events 24/7 to fill said resort rooms, marathons, Brazilion Tour Groups, ALL of North America Spring Breaks, no discounting. Yes, we remember when it was
    exclusive.

Then when lost Oswald he shrugged his shoulders and said eh what are you gonna do.

And he was clearly happy to be one and done with Snow White.

And it's obvious he felt Disneyland was enough.

Boy do I hate it when people try to define what a true Disney park fan is.

You have to learn to read my man... I didn't say in the first 40 years. I said WHEN THE PARK OPENED!! I hate to "yell", but you apparently need that.

As it is now, it's foolish, cheesy, and unwarranted. Messes up the flow of the ride.

But I REALLY like the effect, honestly.
