Dramatic, but quite fitting given the topic. Maybe he's actually floating around his grave swapping heads with people.

    Snow White

    Bambi
    Fantasia

Or in the more modern era:

    Cars
    Toy Story 3
Treasure Planet and a host of other Disney Films that no one else saw either.

I know. I should probably be kicked out of LP. What can I say?

Actually, I think I provide the perspective of the average theme park guest. Someone who has enjoyed various Disney Films but certainly not seen all of them, and enjoys going to the parks without worrying too much if they live up to Walt's vision. I just want to have fun. That essentially is all I want out of life. I just want to have fun.

Do we really need to be reminded chestnuts such as:
    - it's JUST a them park!
    - is this the ONLY thing you have to think about?
    - hey, little kids will like it!
    - you people need to get a LIFE!
    - this isn't the biggest problem in the world, y'know!

I just don't see how talking about this stuff on a discussion board hampers a person to enjoy things in the park or not.

Sometimes I think we do. Those kind of remark help keep things in perspective when people are bent out of shape over unthemed wheelchair ramps and Mickey's color palate atop the Silly Symphony Swings. When you are here arguing about that sort of minutia perhaps the suggestion to "get a life" might be helpful. It's certainly helped me to come to my senses.

How exactly does it "mess up the flow" of the ride? It's at the end! If this scene were in the beginning or middle, I might agree with you. But it's just before you get out of the Doom Buggy.

    "Messes up the flow"? Please.

Hmmm... I've reviewed my posts in this thread and don't really see where I've said that, although I agree with a certain amount of it.

I'm here posting my opinion just like everyone else. If someone can post that changes to the HM are the end of the world, I can certainly post that I don't think it makes much difference in the total scheme of things. I obviously enjoy the give and take or I wouldn't post here. But I'm certainly not going to try to hide the "gimme a break" reaction I have to threads like this.

<<HHG scene now featuring Loony Tunes"?

    GIMME A BREAK!

I look forward to changes at DL or WDW. Not being a local means that a big expense is incurred to visit, and to be honest we haven't been back since 2008 in poart because DLR was beginning to feel stale.

I think they're really used as a way to stifle conversation more often than not. Yeah, if someone is REALLY unhinged, okay. But plenty of times, I've seen variations of those phrases used as a way to attempt to shut down debate entirely. It's sort of the Godwin's Law of theme park discussion.

I think it's possible to debate theme park minutia without losing one's grasp of other things that are far more important. Or sports. Or model railroads. Or whatever hobby people are into.

The OVERuse of such "reminders" are condescending.

Yes, you have just been banished from LP and Disney all together, I'm going to need all Figment plush, your autograph book, and 3 chosen pairs of Mickey ears. I'm going to ask you to step away from the theme parks and head over to Universal Studios, where they could use one more AP holder...lol

Just Kidding! I agree with your opinion on the HM addition though. The end has always seemed silly to me so making this more light-hearted is okay by me. The effect is outstanding as well!

A Disney vacation is not something most people can round up the family and go at the last minute, it can be very expensive and time consuming. And to see someone like that look down on people because they're not an AP is rude and quite frankly someone who doesn't know how the real world actually exists.
