    I'm planning an open beach picnic for my friend's birthday. That seems to be a good focus for me (yeah, I love organizing things, I had about a dozen people scheduled to take care of Chris in her last couple months :). Anyway, Chris loved the beach, especially Sycamore Cove, and another friend and I took her there about a month before she passed. She was obsessed with water and the beach in her last few months, I think she was very dehydrated. Getting her to the water in her weak condition was quite a feat, but I'm so glad we did it.

    If anyone wants to join our picnic, you're welcome, I can give you details. It will be January 18.
