And, even though our room was on the freeway side, the double doors out to the balcony, kept most of the noise away. It's a great place. Let me know if you have a 'sterile' room. I'll try it again.

Hubby doesn't want to take the regular shuttle because he says it takes too long and that would get us back to our room even later than if we just walked. I'm thinking of perhaps hiring a cab on our next trip, but was just curious if you knew what the rates might be? I absolutely love Hojos-- and trust me-- I'm not complaining! Just wondering if you might offer any helpful info! Thanks so much! :]

I know what you mean about the walk on the way home [especially after having walked all over the parks for the whole day], and so I can definitely empathize with you on that count! If you would prefer not to take the ART Shuttle that is run by the City of Anaheim, a cab would probably cost you about $10. I hope that this helps! Lorealle

But this year, we are taking 3 buses of kids so I'll need 3 rooms. Will I be able to use my Entertainment Card for all 3? We'll be there the night of June 11th (a Wednesday) and it would only be for that one night.

I doubt my DD will be able to make the walk at the end of a day in the Parks - so I still have to drive... I hope the rooms are at least quite... Maybe I will get over here tomorrow - but I doubt it!!

Please reconsider driving, as the hassle of parking in the garage, and taking the tram, especially if you're catching the tram at the end of the evening when the park closes will be far greater than just pushing a little bit on the walk back in the evening. Perhaps consider using ART for the evening return if the walk is just too much. I will say that we much prefer building 1 over building 2, and we've stayed in both. The walk seems shorter from building 1, but I think it's not really that much difference. We also generally park our car, and then rarely use it while we're there. Hope you have a great trip and a good stay at the HoJo!

The City of Anaheim REQUIRES the use of the ART system for any new hotel in the Anaheim Resort Area, and also any hotel that wants a building permit to make changes on their property. Candy Cane Inn and Sheraton Anaheim are grandfathered, and if they want to make any major change in the future, they will have to switch to the ART system. The City of Anaheim uses the ART system as a way to meet Air Quality requirements. Now, if they move to Garden Grove, those new hotels can have their own shuttle....

I thought our room was a little outdated as well compared to the other rooms I have stayed in. I didn't even think to ask about a room change... Having said that I have always been more than satisfied with building one and that is where we are staying this summer. We always walk in the morning and ride ART at night and the wait has never been that big of a deal. If there isn't room on the bench to wait on we usually just sit on the ground. I agree that you should ask to be moved if you don't like building two.

I have never been told I would need to come to the desk when there is something missing from a room - I told him I would need it brought up since I was alone with my children and couldn't leave them alone...40 min later (yes I know they get busy) my DD was showered and in bed when it finally got there. I will say this - the was large - plenty of drawers and having a table was nice - We had a refridg - but no microwave - beds were a bit hard but large with plenty of pillows...The towels left alot to be desired and are definately ready for replacement!! I will probably keep mays ressies and see if a different building helps... I did drive since I was alone with the children and my ankle was acting up (injured it a while ago) I am PAP so parking was covered and the tram is always easy!
