Here's another Disney housekeeper reportedly arrested for stealing, this time from All Stars: http://www.clickorlando.com/ne...dex.html This one thought perhaps she was too smart to get caught. In the sting situation where they caught her, she took only $20 from a wad of $400 in cash. I would guess that her thought was that most people wouldn't notice that amount of money missing, and if they did, they probably couldn't be sure about it, and even if they were, hotel security would probably nod their head and take a report but discount it as guest error. Plus, she only took cash and not gift cards, so there's no way to trace their usage once it leaves the room. Unfortunately, as is the case many times when someone discovers the "perfect crime," if you do it too many times, it eventually can catch up with you. Disney security apparently received enough complaints about missing money above the noise of false/mistaken reports to establish a pattern of which housekeeper was responsible, and this was convincing enough to get the Sheriff's Department to set up a sting. For all of the above to fall into place, I would guess that it would have to have happened dozens of times in the past.
