How the White House handled Foster's 1993 death, and the possibility that administration officials improperly removed documents from his office or impeded an official search of it, has been the subject of intense scrutiny by congressional Republicans and the media. The newly released memo, written by White House lawyer Miriam Nemetz, quotes then-White House chief of staff Mack McLarty as saying Mrs. Clinton "was very upset and believed the matter required further thought and the president should not yet be told" about Foster's note. According to the document, Mrs. Clinton "said they should have a coherent position and should have decided what to do before they told the president." <<

Even Hillary isn't radical enough for todays far left democrat party.. they need a Howard Dean , Barbara Boxer type.

Hillary IS a hypocrite, as proven by the facts many people have presented here. No one has PROVEN Cheney did anything wrong in the followup to the shooting. Sure, you didn't LIKE how he handled it, but you don't like anything Cheney does ... except getting himself into a bit of hot water. Cheney is definitely guarded. Secretive? A matter of subjective opinion. Hillary a hypocrite? Proven fact. >>> I honestly don't understand all the unbridled hostility toward hillary clinton. She IS a hostile person. She treats people like garbage. The current president for starters: George W. Bush has been most kind, civil and gracious to Her Hillaryness on more than one occasion, namely the unveiling of the Clinton portrait in the White House. Hillary has nothing remotely respectful in return. But Hillary gives even worse to those who are close to her. Her behavior is tyranical. And the people who have felt her wrath most of all are Democrats and former associates, who either claim she is one mean, callous, vulgar woman ... or who remain politely quiet when those charges are made by others. >>> Of course, it's only coming from one direction - republicans - but the point remains. Wrong. There are plenty of Democrats who don't like her, and are publicly screaming for an alternative candidate in 2008. They know she's poison to the party, and can't point to one substantial achievement beyond being the first first lady elected senator. >>> and the shock SHOCK about bill's extra-curricular affairs. Like hillary had anything to do with that. The woman crusaded against Clarence Thomas' court nomination because of allegations he told some dirty jokes. Her husband is accused of womanizing (and lying about it in court), making unwanted advances, groping people, and sexual assault, and Hillary lies for and protects Bill. She paints herself as the worlds biggest champion of women, and yet look what the Clinton machine has done to women. Hillary IS a part of that machine. She is the main cogwheel and damage-control officer. Bill is just havin' a bit of fun along the way. She has EVERYTHING to do with how the Clintons have disrespected and trashed conservatives and women (even Democratic women) for over two decades. >>> Hillary is saying the same thing that lots of pundits are saying - that this administration cloaks itself in secrecy and arrogance. The host of this thread never bothers to dispute this fact, only that the previous administration was worse. Okay, I'll dispute it vigorously. It was BUSH who readily agreed to recounts in 2000 ... Widespread recounts, not just selected ones. It was the BUSH ADMINISTRATION that released the infamous photos from Abu-Gharib. (sp?) It was the BUSH ADMINISTRATION that agreed to investigations of what happened before and after 9/11 and Katrina. George Bush has forthrightly fielded questions from the media on every topic except his family ... perhaps not as his critics in the media would like, but he does it. It was the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION that had cabinet officials lie in Clinton's behalf. It was the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION that refused to admit Lewinsky until the blue dress showed-up. It was the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION that issued a weak denial, through Clinton's lawyer, regarding the gravely serious charge that Clinton had raped Juanita Broaddrick. (sp?) Even today, neither Clinton will discuss anything uncomfortable, and press conferences are only staged and highly-controlled events. The people who are labeling the Bush administration "secretive" cannot prove their charge, nor can they defend the media's soft-peddling issues like Clinton's accused rape. Every administration has its secrets. No president is going to disclose anything the press asks for, or give David Gregory free reign in the west wing. Whenever the Myers or Stephanopolous or Lockhart said "No comment" for Clinton, the press was fine. This week, the press corp threw a tantrum because a Corpus Christi paper got the shooting news first, and they got nasty with McClellan. This makes the Bush administration "secretive?" Good grief. >>> They're also still not quite over their righteous indignation that bill clinton had sex outside of marriage. I'm not quite over that Clinton very likely did other things (rape) that were never addressed or investigated except by one solitary reporter (who was secretly bad-mouthed by the left). I'm not over the fact that the arrogant media is so clearly biased and manipulative of the truth. I'm not over the fact that Hillary Clinton is the biggest hypocrite on Capitol Hill and wants to make herself our next president. For anyone who believes in integrity in leadership, there is no getting over any of that. >>> So by your view, our government will only tell us what they want us to know, and only when they want us to know it. By my view, Cheney had no right to discuss his friend's medical condition, and the press should be going to the police first, not to Cheney, for the facts of the case. But they weren't interested in the facts, or what the primary investigation revealed. They just wanted Cheney, on TV, looking embarrassed, sheepish and beaten. >>> She's not barefoot and in the kitchen like a good First Lady is supposed to be. Some guys just don't like women that are smarter than they are. For starters, Hillary is not smart. Not stupid, but not all that smart either. Mainly driven and manipulative. If I so disapprove of women smarter and more powerful than me, perhaps you can explain why I think so highly of Condoleezza Rice and Margaret Thatcher ... women who are thoroughly trashed by the left in the ugliest ways, despite their achievements AND character.

My worst enemies say I don't lie. That is why I think lying is the worst character flaw there is as I teach my kids. A killer will murder so you can stay away from them. A thief will steal so you can hide your wallet. A liar is someone you don't know what the heck they're going to do, so you don't know how to associate and deal with a liar except by keeping your distance. As I've told my children, so all the lefites won't go bananas, George Bush lies too, as do many, many people but this thread is about Hillary and that is why I can't stand her.
