Lots of water, and keep that skin covered from the sun. Late August is a toss up as for heat. It won't be cool, I know that much.

    Try this

Best stuff on Earth for children, I know, I have tried them all.

So while I really didn;t want to go in August ( only time schedule allowed this year) - same rules apply as would at home -- don't overdo it....lots more pool time - and sunscreen

If there was any way I could put it off till the end of September, I'd do that in a flash.

I am trying to grasp one of the various meanings of this post. I think I don't really want to know.

I don't think it would be any worse. It's hard to say which is hotter, the Devil's kitchen or his Sauna.

If you have long hair, pony tails are the way to go. Otherwise, yes, it is just as hot. Plus, nearly everyday during the late afternoons, there are the rain showers. During those times we usually find a nice restaurant, have a bite to eat, and watch all of the other guests running thru the parks trying to keep dry. It is really an experience, especially for us Northern California residents. We enjoy it!! ºoº

I am hoping it will not be raining as much in July :) Last summer when I went to DL it was really hot and it sure sucked it out of you by lunch time. It was also very crowded! Since WDW is so much bigger it seems like there is more room to disperse. I don't care how hot it is I can't wait!!!

In May, were moving to Colorado, so to those of you that complain about the snow, well, I guess I will be joining you. Although, it won't be Denver, so hopefully it won't be that bad, but just the same, something I am going to have to get use to.

Were going to WDW in June, and we can't wait!!! ºoº

I used to travel all over the country in a musical show group. Winters were really strange - blizzard conditions one night in Ohio, then balmy breezes and 78 degrees in Georgia the next. Or the real shock was spending a week in SoCal, then flying into 40 below in North Dakota! I sure do like the south in the winter!!!
