Or if not a moose, some sheep, cows, dogs, etc. I don't know why I'm stating this either, to be honest.

I think a "cow cow" would be considered a bovine (boys are bulls), while a moose cow would be considered a moose. Just to further complicate things, a female whale is also a cow...
