If it happens then that would be a mere byproduct and not a genuine/fundamental Universal goal. Spidey, The Terminator and Bart Simpson care about their own health and well-being irrespective of how Cinderella and Figment feel.

If Universal wanted to create something as vast as Kilimanjaro Safari or a Dis. Studios Tram Ride then I see your point.

They insist on charging the same amount Disney does for a one-day ticket. The problem with that of course, is most people are spending 5+ days at Disney, so the per day cost of admission is much lower than at Universal, where one or two days is sufficient for most visitors. I'm in the same boat, be it Anaheim or Orlando. I visit Uni maybe once out of every four or more trips, because I perceive the cost as being greater than Disney. I did Uni Orlando in 2006, but not 2008. If it weren't for Harry Potter I'd be skipping them in 2010 as well. Charge what I'd typically pay at Disney when MYW tickets are taken into account, and I'll visit Uni more often.

I gather the plan would be to unvail additions every 18 months or so depending on the success of the area.

On this site where I get lost many times -- okay AAU ( just like NCAA is it very rarely spelled out is Amateur Athletic Association and is headquartered in Orlando )- VB is volleyball ( I'll agree that one may have sped over)- but Wide World of Sports you've never seen as WWos ?
