I agree. HoJo's is a pleasant place to stay, but I too was puzzled by its high ranking. I personally do not think that its worth the $100+ rates they are charging these days.

I've always wanted to try it anyway, especially since they have their own shuttle(won't use it much I'm sure - but nice to know it's there) and the breakfast is a huge bonus with three teenage boys!

I love the parking at HoJo's. Most of the hotels have little to no parking. With a huge vehicle I need to be aware of hotel parking lots!

That was when it was under $75 a night. But maybe we should have kept the secret a little better. Too much praise apparently equaled price hikes!

dzy - I've always wanted to stay at CCI too. If we don't stay on property (assuming our trip happens at all, lol), that's probably my first choice!

I got CCI or 97/night with AAA. Not to bad for summer rate I thought. I'm a little worried about the pool being too small, but I just can't pay much more this time. And that free breakfast is a deal for my boys.

HoJo is just being like any other good business and charging what the market will bear. And if there are facilities of equal quality and a lower price, they will then have to adjust their rates again.
