By the last year over the summer I left for work at 6:30 am as I always do. Came home after running a few errands around 6:30 pm. And notice I left my door open the whole time. It was a scary feeling, I went to the garage, grabbed a 2-iron just in case, and scoped the house. Everything was still there thankfully.

I am so sorry to hear of this...did you report it? It's all just stuff and most can be replaced whereas you cannot, so I'm so glad you were not at home. Though I know it has to be hard losing the things that had belonged to your grandparents and there is no way to replace that. But thank God you, Steev, and Kitty are okay. That's the most important thing. Again...(((((Beth)))))

Hang in there. It happened to me 7 years ago. Anything that was valuable was taken. Even my pictures. Don't know why they would want those. I really was upset my kids baby books were taken and my baby book my mom made for me. (She died when I was 12.) So I know what you mean about sentimental value.
Things will get better. Glad your okay.

What was that thing you told me the other day? Something about knowing how to type? :)

<<Tiggirl: They also took all of my Limited Edition Disney Treasures DVD's.>>

Those rotten buttholes! How inhuman! I hope they get constipated!

Best of luck to you getting your things back, whether from the thieves or finding a way to buy new ones. Thieves suck!

Once, they took the pillow case off of my pillow to carry the loot. (We have been robbed several times.)
Today I dare them to steal my analog TV, 6yo computer, $29 DVD player.

So here I am with a great big hug. I am so happy all that was lost was stuff. Hang in there. You just have to wonder what kind of mentality thinks this is okay.
