I hope you are correct. Although we frequently disagree, I really like Dave. I hope he takes my difference in opinion as just that... not a personal attack.

But back on topic, I am glad Donny is happy with his choice.

Really? It doesn't look any taller than the one in California to me.

Even it if did, ten years from now the new guy (or gal) is going to come along at Disney with some new directive and change it all.

I remember WDW from 1975, but that doesn't mean that I'm still stuck there. Disney isn't immune to change. Things change and advance - sometimes not for the better - that's just the way the world works. A lot of posters at LP seem... well... stuck.

....But what's up with 1974? Spirited year...

I don't really have anything to add. I don't think you can compare WDW to DL and have stated that many times. You can compare DL to MK (I think the Anaheim park is worlds better than the ghetto kingdom in O-Town). You can even compare EPCOT to DCA (FLA wins this one hands down even in 2011) as second gates.

You can also compare say DD FLA v. DD CA. But you can't compare WDW to DL in a fair apple to apple way.

I kind of feel like Dave feels, though. And that's why I often take Spirited online breaks because after a while it's all just a waste of time and repeating yourself over and over again ... and people complaining because you have negative view points of things etc.

It's also just not as much fun without many old personalities here such as TDLFAN, MPierce, Jonvn, Chi-Mike and many others, those are just off the top of my head.

Other sites are generally overrun by kids and people who really have scary obsessions with the Mouse.

That said, if Donny is happy living in O-Town, then I'm happy for him.

    "189 full feet!"

That makes it taller than the Matterhorn and about the same height at Spaceship Earth. It certainly doesn't look that tall, but I'll take your word for it.
