That was so weird to me, being used to the berm. And their Toontown...er....Country Fair...whatever. So weird that it just ends, in a chain link fence. That's the end. Weird.... We loved MK version of Jungle Cruise, and of course EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Didn't love having to take a shuttle back and forth though, but the resort feel was great and made up for it. Both resorts are awesome! I really want to go back to WDW for the Christmas season sometime.

They could easily block the view of the road next time they revamp that area.

But the structure is 189 feet tall. So well planned.

Ruined by a horrible second gate, a rediculouly ugly and horribly designed car garage. Their downtown disney is just ok to me. Now I do love DL, the park but there are things about it that bug me. Space is one, it feels so small and when it is crowded, it is a nightmare. Now I came to florida and began working at WDW in 1995. It was a good time for the parks. Esp MK!! I do agree its gone a little down hill but if I was given a choice I would choose WDW hands down. I love the way it feels once your just simply on property. AK and Epcot sent it over the top for me. I moved back to cali in 2000 and lived there for a year and everytime I was in DL, I just longed for Cinderella castle, Spaceship Earth and all my WDW faves. I know I am in the monority, but just wanted to say, your not alone in your feelings.

Originally Posted By RoadTrip <<In my opinion when DCA is done the expansion it will be superior to WDW.>> Can't agree... DCA will definitely be better than the Studios (I think it already is). But the existence of Epcot and the AK are advantages that DL will never be able to overcome.

That's comparing apples and rocks as far as I'm concerned. Totally different experiences and efforts.

And although I love IROE, I prefer Remember Dreams Come True.
