Also, she apologized as well (for what I'm not sure, but it was a nice surprise!). I have already applied at several places. My sister stopped by tonight (she moved out in July, darn it! We could use the money now!) and brought me an application from where she works. She even asked her human resource co-worker if it would make a difference if she worked there. The HR person replied people are hired on their own merit, which I was really happy of after being at a place that promoted nepotism! The wierd thing is they said I could use her for a reference. (!?) I doubt if I will as I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

I think everyone has at least one Boss from (ADMIN) only one if they are lucky. It can be very frustrating. I have always believed in "what goes around, comes around" though and they eventually get their due. Stand tall and good luck with the job search.

It can take one off guard and make it hard to say the right things. I once got a call about someone and they used his real name. I said I did not know this person. Later, thinking about it, I realized that I knew him as Kanga. I had only heard his name a couple of times.
