She has since said that if it happened again she would leave her body properly.

She has also had a recurring dream where she talks to a friend of hers who died last year. In the dreams her friend forces her to take something that she doesn't want, but in all the dreams my Mother hasn't been able to see what it is. The death of this friend did affect my Mother's finances and the friend would be devastated to know that. I honestly believe that these dreams are her trying to put it right and give my Mother something to help!!!

It was weird because he was going through some tough times, expecting a new baby in June and she was comforting him and giving him advice, it was like she was still alive. The next time I dreamt of her she was still in the waiting room talking with my nephew but she looked up and saw me and said, "What are you doing here you need to go back to your room and lie down." She took my hand and led me back to a bed and helped me into it. She then rubbed my brow and said everything will be all right and that I'll need to be very strong. I opened my eyes and saw my sister and BIL standing at the foot of my bed. I kept saying, "There's mom, standing between you, see her?" Because I was slurring they didn't know what I was saying, but called the Dr. to tell them I was awake and trying to talk. Everyone was very excited. I thought it was because my mom was there.

It wasn't until later I found out I had been in ICU for 2 days and had a hemmoragic stroke on the right side and almost died. When my mom came to me they were ready to operate on my brain because the bleeding was so deep and hadn't gone down. They took a cat scan an hour later and all the blood was gone! It had been absorbed by the body. Because I had my stroke at work and work alone at night it was over 3 hours before someone found me so they prepared my family for the worst, saying I may not talk or walk due to brain damage. My left side was completely paralyzed. Well I started to recover very fast my nurses had to keep reporting to my Drs. almost hourly because they couldn't believe how fast my recovery was going. I spoke fine, just low and fast, my family told the speech therapist that was normal for me. :) They put me in therapy right away and in 3 weeks I walked out of the hospital! I became a poster child for stroke victims, I had Drs. from the University of WA, and other hospitals visit and come talk to me. Today my Drs. call me their miracle. I think prayers and support from family and friends were the key and my mother, my angel was there watching over me.

It was very comforting, yet frustrating becuse it seemed so real but it wasn't. Like 3-D you want to reach out and touch it but all you grab is air. (Queue twilight zone music here.)
