I don't like him very much, but I do believe he cares about this country a lot, and is very unhappy with the direction it has taken. I share that opinion. <<I'm sure he is against bombing Pakistan. I wonder if he's going to interview the Marines stationed on the Afganistan/Pakistan border to ask them how they feel about the insurgents coming across nightly.>> I have no idea what his feelings are on that. My feelings, not that you asked but I know you want to hear them, is that we should be bombing those areas of Pakistan because we KNOW that's where Osama and his pals are. We need to route them out and get that country stable because it does have nukes and it is in a lot of danger of falling into the hands of these Muslim fundamentalists. But our resources are stretched because we are in another place (Iraq) where we have no business being. <<I despise people who run this country down because it's not the America they invision. Have differing views yes, but don't degrade your country in order to line your pockets with money you received for telling lies, and half truths.>> I don't disagree with that in principle, however, many of our greatest patriots were just that because they broke our country down by attacking the status quo. I don't know that I'd put Michael Moore up there with those types ... but I do know I'd love to have a conversation with the man. Oh, and to answer your earlier question, in 'Sicko' Moore took a group of 9-11 first responders who couldn't obtain health care in the USA to Cuba, yes. First, he tried to get them into Guntanamo (where we give medical care to all the alleged evildoers in our custody) and naturally was turned away ... them they went to Havana where they naturally got the best care Fidel could provide. Sure, it was a major publicity stunt. But the point was very true and very poignant. These 'heros' couldn't get care here, but the evil Commies were willing to care for them.

Not quite as cool to say "Oh I picked this up on my last trip to WDW". It makes it much less special. And if I'm on a once in a life time vacation I want special!>> Yeah. So now I have a kewl lanyard (LE 750) that was given by a friend at WDI when the park was being built with the dragon mouse-ears logo that I have treasured (even if I forgot to pack it when I went to China as I wanted to wear it in HKDL the first time) and an HKDL red tee with the same logo ... but guess what? It's not so special anymore because someone in WDW merchandising decided to borrow it and plaster it on generic tees and on trading medals. I HATE that! It is taking something special and making it generic because look at how much you can save/make if you simply plaster all the resorts with the same or very similar merchandise? This is very much like when Pressler came to power and Disney Store merchandise started winding up in the parks. I want UNIQUE lines and items around the resorts. And some things just should be totally 'hands off' ... I would think a park's logo should be one. <<I didn't buy a single thing.>> <<In this tough economic time that may very well be the mantra of many folks, so Disney better take heed. If you want folks to loosen their purse strings you better be ready to give them quality.>> Things are better to some extent. But I didn't feel a pull to buy. Judging by the lack of lines at registers and lack of people carrying bags, I wasn't the exception, more like the rule. <<I'm glad to hear you found things to enjoy Spirit. Mr.jkayjs is heading down the end of March to see our daughter & the Bay Hill Classic. I was going to go to see the new offerings but something came up so I'll have to wait till July.>> When I stop finding things to enjoy, I'll stop visiting. And if that day comes, you'll know the true Spirit of WDW has died. There really was a lot of positive signs I saw in many areas ... the biggest negative continues to be Disney Dining and they couldn't care less as their cruise-line style DDP is filling tables and bringing in $$$. But not mine. <<I'm not sure where "HDDL" is, of course I meant HKDL. Oh well I hope no one judges my intelligence by my typos.>> Believe me, I know. I do the same thing and I never read anything before I post -- likely where some of my vaguely political posts come from ;-) ... But if I took the time to worry about grammar, spelling and the like, I wouldn't have the time to actually post much! And we all know what a loss that would be ... MPierce might not get out of bed! Let's go back to the topic of this thread: AIE. I thought I would hate it. I never watched one full show on FOX in my life. I was against it being put in TPFKaTD-MGMS. If I wanted to I could have just said 'this is crap ... I know what it's about ... I know who's behind it ... I'll pass.' Guess what? Then I'd have had a closed mind. I went in, viewed the show and judged it on its own merits (putting my biases aside) ... and I enjoyed it ... a lot (where's Leemac to respond 'I told you so?') I'm not saying you'll enjoy a MM film, but I'd certainly see it before passing judgment. >> Oh, and to answer your earlier question, in 'Sicko' Moore took a group of 9-11 first responders who couldn't obtain health care in the USA to Cuba, yes. << <<Has anybody bothered to check this out. Although my mind is a bit foggy at this hour on all the particulars. But I don't think it would kill you or make you a bad American (like say that Sean Hannity wackjob) if you viewed Sicko and then decided its merits on your own. ~Pass the Pixie Dust~

Simply it boils down to philsophical beliefs. By the way Hannity is way over the top in my opinion.
