    I don't know that I am. I can't quantify feelings.

I know that naked men do not arouse me(actually they turn me off quite fast) whereas woman do look delicious to me.

I've seen many church youth groups at DL that ware shirts that say what church they are from. And they've had prayer circles right there in the park. Talk about in your face. The gays at least have not had pride parades in the park. So if one group can do it so can other.

And they never will understand. Why? Because love and sexual attraction is magical, mystical, unexplainable, infinite, intangilble and deeply profound.

This stuff is beyond the scope of science and math and can not be quanitfied or anatomized.

Um, no, it is not the same thing. Using drugs in this country is illegal. Being gay is not.

You want to know what really bothers me about your argument? It's that you are so selfish that you can't allow these people a couple of days out of the year to go to DL. Instead of just rescheduling your vacation for another time like most people who want to avoid crowds or whatever, you feel the need to ponificate here and moan about it.

    Exactly, trekker.

You know, iamgoofy, I would wish you a wonderful time at DL, but I think you're determined not to enjoy it.

Based on what I see here, you will probably be too busy tallying all the ungodly things you'll undoubtedly see in the park.

Either that, or you'll be in hysterics and come off looking like Mrs. Pingleton outside "The Corny Collins Show."

You can choose to let it bother you that you're going to DL during Gay Day weekend. Or you can choose not to.

Somehow, I think you'll do the former.

But seriously, I can't say anything more than others have before me. I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

You might want to check your facts about the red car myth. It's been debunked several times over. But hey, don't let that stop you from repeating the myth. Here's one link...

    <a href="http://www.snopes.com/autos/law/redcars.asp" target="_blank">http://www.snopes.com/autos/la

In addition, I'm sure you're aware that the original Bible has been translated many times and did not appear in English first. It was translated by people with an agenda, believe it or not. Many Jewish people, though not all, do not interpret the Sodom and Gomorrah story to be about homosexuality at all. In fact, there are even Christians who don't think it's about homosexuality, either. People can bend and twist words to suit their own needs. Here's a link to what some Christians are saying about this story and other stories including the story of Leviticus, which incidentally is the only place in the bible where male homosexuality is even mentioned. I find the link about Leviticus particularly interesting since it brings into specific relief the different "sins" listed in the bible that would be described as "abomination". Abomination, incidentally, is a word found in English translations which is not correctly translated from the original Hebrew, which is translated more as "something that is "ritually or culturally forbidden." (written in the site and confirmed by my Rabbi) But most people do some of these things daily, and some of them are not that big of a deal to a thinking person in 2007. One of these "abominations" is getting out of bed after your parents or grandparents have gotten up. Another is wearing a wool/cotton blend. And shaving. No shaving of the beard or the hair around the temples. But feel free to pick and choose "sins."

Everyone on this site...if “everyone†disagrees with me implying all people not just the people on this site, please explain why so many states reject gay marriage. This was determined by vote…or is it just that gays and liberals don’t vote? IF so many believe in gay rights to marriage and everything else as on this site why cant they marry? Is it that this site is fairly liberal? That would be a fair explanation is my guess.>

I don't really think the topic of gay marriage has been brought up. I think the consensus has been that is none of our places to judge nor discriminate. So please tell me iamgoofy, as a strong Christian, I believe only God has the right to do that. So why don't you stop.

<Also, you did not tell me if the gay gene has been isolated? If so, please cite a source. If you can I might believe people are born gay. You wanted to discuss science so here is your chance all you have to do is cite your source. Ms/Mr biology teacher.>

Haha. Um I never once said that a "gay gene" has been isolated. It takes years to isolate genes but then again you wouldn't know that.

I am done posting here. I am talking to a brick wall.

So it's something genetic, sounds like. It's just the way people are. I don't see why it is anyone else's business. I really just don't.

imadisneygal linked to a good site; here are a couple more. First, one written by the Rev. Mel White that addresses the passages you brought up earlier:

    <a href="http://www.soulforce.org/article/homosexuality-bible-gay-christian" target="_blank">http://www.soulforce.org/artic
    le/homosexuality-bible-gay-christian</a>

Second, a site that throughout contains links to both the conservative and liberal views of the passages in question, so you can compare and contrast.

    <a href="http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_bibl.htm" target="_blank">http://www.religioustolerance.
    org/hom_bibl.htm</a>

I won't cut and paste here, but check it out. You might learn something.

Not exactly the same thing here but close enough to this inquiry.

About 10 years back I went on a date with a lady with a smoking hot body and later that night she took her shirt off in the dark and and I touched "them"--- they felt like a man's bicep being flexed and I was so grossed out that I had to stop touching her immediately. I never saw her romantically again. Friends, yes, even to this very day, sex no way. I like natural, feminine women unlike so many other men out there.

Why women take beautiful body parts be they large or small, regularly or irregularly shaped and adulterate them with implants is beyond me.
(I can see and fully understand those who have had breast cancer or the like)

Folks, it may be the alcohol talking, but what is the difference between gay days, and fetish days? Should we look to sado masocists to have a day at DL. To me people are people, no matter what their orientation. But I'm a hippocrit because I also enjoy LP meets, so I suppose Gay Days or Bats Day or to me at WDW the worst thing ever - Pop Warner contestants see it the same way.
