And ABnormal is definately more fun than being normal, whatever that means anymore. LOL I have a ton of gay friends and they dont have a lot out there for them. It is nice for them to be able to go and have fun and be totally accepted somewhere. And having gone through the goth period myself I know how it feels to get the looks and what not. But those people arent any different.. Just because of the way they are dressed or their make up is. Who are we to judge?? I also wanted to make it to Bats Day as that is awesome. One day I will make it there! Everyone wants to have fun in Disneyland! That is what Walt intended!

Then you have many different Dance and Cheer competitions, and the fact there are many different companies that set up these events. You never find them all. The major ones are usually mentioned, especially if they plan to rent out areas of the parks, such as the Hyperion.

Now I had no problem with it myself - but it would have been nice to know ahead of time, so I could talk to the girls (7,8,9) before hand to avoid the very loud questions being asked in the park about the special minnie ears and the same sex PDA that was going on (with mainly one of my neices pointing it out with the ewwww why are those girls kissing?). Frankly I was very bothered by the PDA - but it bothers me when it's any couple(even my DS18 was "making out" with his GF too much and I swatted him in the back of the head and reminded him that there were families with young children in the park and his behavior was inappropiate), when you start to think, why don't you just go back to your room, already, then it's just too much! DL is suppose to be a family place and families come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and orientations. It doesn't matter what day it is be respectful of the fact that there are young children and old people (and prudes) in the park and dress and act approprietely.

What I find offensive are people who take their sexuality overboard in a family envirionment. Exposing your body in DL or a similar location is inappropriate no matter what your sexual preference is.

Villians...I believe we have already had this discussion but public PDA no matter what age, sex, orientation, size, etc. is just disgusting and inappropriate especially around kids. As well as dressing with everything hanging out. I have to say tho from everything I have read/studied/learned about Walt he seemed like a pretty "normal", clean cut kind of guy. I don't know how much he would have supported or liked these events. But times do change.

I didn't really notice the older guys but saw just a couple older women. Most were toned down a bit, but there was a whole range of dressing, from slightly Goth/punk to wayyy out there... And we missed you Sunday, knox!

There was one girl in a beautiful green and black gown that would perfectly suit a slightly 'risque' hostess at the Haunted Mansion. Made me wonder if she chose the colors purposely - I would guess, yes. And all the umbrellas... The black lace and bows and roses, especially... gorgeous!
