I had my gallstones out years ago now. Quite dramatic (imagine that, lol). Long story short: intense pain -> went to ER -> got misdiagnosed and sent home -> suffered such intense pain I thought I was going to die (not worse than child birth for me but intense pain) -> go to different doc -> correct diagnosis and being told that had he seen me in ER he'd done emergency surgery and from what he was seen of the size of my gallbladder, etc., I'm lucky it didn't burst. From the sounds of it, you'll be fine! If it were an emergency situation, you wouldn't be able to stand straight. I'll keep thinking good thoughts for ya.

Originally Posted By lesmisfan yay! ill be back at the sunwheel tomorrow!!! i had my ultra sound done and they showed me all the little gallstones surrounding the bottom layer of my gallbladder. i have an appointment on the 23 i blieve with a surgeon. but for now i get to go back to work tomorrow. ill be at the sunwheel tomorrow and screamin on saturday!
Originally Posted By lesmisfan sorry yes an update, well obviously i am okay, i was there for the big meet a few weeks ago and back at work, but due to my time off, i have recieved points i probably shouldn't have even though my manager told me otherwise, and because of those points i am recieved a verbal warning and i beleive that goes under disciplinary action and with that i can't really try to transfer anywhere or try to do anything specail like apply for the dream squad because of it! oh well.

Long story short, his gall bladder was so infected they couldn't do laperoscopy and he had to have it out the hard way. The surgeon brought me his gallstones in a little bottle after the surgery. They were about the size of golf balls. Kinda wierd for him to bring them to me but also very interesting, lol. I guarantee you that you will feel tons better after the operation. Best of luck!
