That's why when I read what you have written it comes across as entitlement mentality, and not mere disappointment. I am an AP as well (for the DLR.) If Disney changed the rules and discounts went away, were reduced, or made harder to get, I too might reconsider it's value. But I would still go to DL. I might not stay in their hotel, buy as many souvenirs, or eat as much in their restaurants, but I would still go. I am not going to deny myself some fun just because they took away some discounts.

And after paying a certain amount for so long - it will be very hard to pay SO MUCH MORE knowing what I *used* to spend. I won't be able to it ... at least not yet. As someone else said - reboot and come back to the issue - I may in a few years, but I can't just yet.

The last three you could still book with your AP and get the discount. Its only this last minute trip thats not discounted, so your boycotting. I'm a WDW AP holder as well and have no problem with the rule. I still get my discount for being an AP holder(my work needs more than 2 months notice for vacation - I plan years ahead anyways) and its guaranteed to be at the cheapest discount(they dropped my one night at POP from $59 to $49 in Jan.). Additionally they still offer codes, but now the codes are delayed until after all the AP'ers have a chance to get their room. Before codes would be released months before, which took away the availability of some rooms for AP'ers. I'm not a big fan of cancellation charges, but more and more places do this when you want something at a discounted rate(hotels, airlines, tickets, etc.) I've stayed offsite and onsite, no comparison for our family. Onsite all the way.

I am prepared to bolt is if looks too bad. If this offer hadn't come up - I would have gone to West Palm to visit family or Fort Lauderdale
