I never went in the park expecting a dream gift so was not disappointed when not getting something (although I was dreaming about a stay in the dream suite!). I bet the people that did receive something, told many of their friends about the experience, which is good PR.

No. You go because it's DISNEYLAND and as an added bonus you might get dreamed! I mean I was frustrated and jealous that I saw so many people with the Fastpasses but it was in a good natured way. Sort of like "What am I doing wrong! Dangit!" but I never dwelled on it because that's not why I came in the first place. I didn't really expect to win ANYTHING so when we got the ears it was awesome. Although the particular team that dreamed us was a bit less then enthusiastic.

He was looking forward to it in WDW so he could understand it in English (it's in French at DLP). But he was too short. They let us go through the queue to see the droids. Then nana rode while we waited. He was near tears but held it together (I explained the situation with no expectations at all). A cast member felt sorry for us, so she led us to a cabin and we experienced the attraction without the movement so he could finally understand Rex!!!! Then he was given a certificate and when they found out I was such a Disney and Star Wars nerd, they gave us a backstage tour, explained how all the IT systems (including safety) worked and answered any of my multitudinal questions. It was one of my best experiences ever, and far better than a fast pass lanyard. It was awesome! DL the following year we were not officially dreamed, but our LP friends made so many dreams come true!

We were so grateful and surprised! The second time a cast member moved us from behind the treess at Fantasmic to the preferred seating in the front right when the show was about to begin! I always love talking to the Cast Members at the park and I think they can feel how much I love Disneyland and what it means to me to be there and they so often show so much kindness and create magic! It is so cool that the park empowers the CM's to impart this kind of magic for the guests.
