The day after we returned home I was at the mall with my family, all of a sudden I felt horrible and grabbed hubby's arm. It was instantanous and very unexpected. In a matter of "seconds" within feeling horrible, I crumpled to the floor. The scary part was that I was so dehydrated from our trip that my body went into shock and they couldn't wake me....they had to take me to the hospital by ambulance. Once they got me there they pumped me full of fluid for the next couple of hours. Not a fun experience!! The worst part, it could have been easily avoided if I had just drunk enough water....so be sure YOU do!

Okay, sorry for the lecture, but I would never of believed it could happen if it hadn't happened to me!!

a: Lets just say on the 7th day God created In n Out...

It's one of the best burger joints, very basic menu, problem is they only have them in a few states, and mine is not one! My first stop when in town is to In n Out, on the way to DL of course!

We carry a couple of bottles in a backpack, and then we put a bunch of frozen bottles (that defrost, obviously) in a locker first thing in the morning. I would rather hike back to the lockers than pay $11 every time our family of 4 wants a bottle of water.

Honestly, I am happy to pay full price for meals there, but the prices of drinks and snacks sends me completely over the edge! (And I am about as far from being thrifty as they come, generally speaking.) We always take fruit snacks, teddy grahams, nutragrain bars, raisins, nuts, capri suns and bottled waters in a backpack. I bet we save $50-$75/day in what we could've spent on drinks & snacks!

Luvtalaughtoo-I agree totally on your response to what In N Out is.
I think there burgers and fries are the BEST and we look forward to our yearly trip to CA to eat there and go to DL. Does life get any better then that?

Cereals and fruit for breaky. Take in a couple waters and snck type bars. We head out for a swim in the afternoon and then grab a lunch at MiMi`s or order pizza by the pool. Alway`s eat a good dinner though. Ya gotta have 1 good sized meal a day whether it be lunch or dinner.

They said that alot of people get sick from places like that adn then there is no reprocussion, because they can just move to a new garage and get a new number. If you want pizza in your room use the food guide offered by the hotel or call the front desk and ask what local chains deliver, they will often know.
Sorry to rant, i just think it would be terrible to order you family Pizza while on your big DL trip and then end up in the hospital with food poisoning.(if you've never had it, YOU DON"T WANT IT. If you have had it, you understand)

    Love Cheshire,
PS. Just trying to keep all my little Lp friends safe and healthy.

Couldn't really complain about anything on that trip tho....it was FREE! My hubby and I went to a Disney costume ball where they had a costume contest. To enter, you had to make your own. I went as Minnie. Hubby went as Lumiere. He even had fire coming from his hands...too cool! Anyways, he made his own costume, sculpted the face...totally awesome!! He was specifically asked (you didn't know who the judges were) if he rented his costume and he told them "no" he had made it and how he made it. LOL...I can still picture him sewing (sewing!). That was a site I never thought I would see! But, hey, no complaints. He won the three of us a 5-day Disney trip!!!

    Awwww....good memories!
