Now this is not the unique territory of Beau here, he just does it more often and very consistently. I have 'debated' people on both sides here, and sometimes it gets heated, and this has gone on for years now. I did leave once before when this thread also got so partisan and nasty that all 'discussion' stopped. But rarely have I ever been 'pigeon-holed' with broad generalities like always get thrown into his posts...and really they are unnecssary as the points has already been made without the nyah nyah stuff. I do not believe Beau is a troll in that sense and I don't believe we really have one here ( maybe on person on the left - but so many posts are not even coherent so it's easier to skip many of them) - As I have mentioned before, I haven't voted for a Dem president in my life ( although I have voted for some local Dems) - yet I get called confused, or not seeing things clearly. It is amazing that rational thought is defined as confusion...that is how the rest of a post before that comment gets 'ignored'... So although I don;t have the answers as we near an election the rhetoric is being turned up again, and maybe WE should go away. I do know that if we can't have rational discourse, it should. And recommending far right web sites because people wouldn't last 5 posts and such boasts is ridiculous. So just talk to others with like thought processes, that sure creates a lot of thought. Try some of the financial boards to see the level of nastiness this brings about..no thanks.

" Winter Bash is a little like Secret Santa, where you spoil another LPer over the festive season of Hannukah, Ramadan, Kwaanza and Christmas. You send your LP Bash pal aliased e-mails, links to material they like, and send them little presents. We then tend to reveal ourselves a couple of days before Christmas. It's a lot of fun.

They may hold more conservative positions but they are still very, very mainsteam. God have mercy on the souls of those who deviate from the natural order around here. Look at how many have ridiculed Ed, Nancy, Beau, Magic Snakes by labeling them "trolls".
