    It has always been that way here- but the last maybe 10 years or so it borders on the ludicrous - yet the same cast of characters gets re-elected.

    Local news here could only focus on the political meanderings....and fill the time slots. Some of it is indeed hysterical and tragically sad at the same time.

    the tragic thing here is we are one of the most heavily taxed states in the country - and all the money funnels to these idiots,not to those truly in need -- we sort of operate like many large corporations when you think about it.
    The state is behind over a year on medicare payments to hospitals and doctors - yet our politicians live inluxury - and can 'afford' to tell Obama( who offered to pay for the election rally) no thanks - we're good.

    the politicians here are as out of touch with the real people as those leaving the White House.
