The reason I ask is that these perimeter fireworks and the ones done at DL are similar in concept, but the delivery and scale is different, owing mostly to the local park's differences. The special show in WDW (less frequent) includes choreographed volleys of the big globular shells that simply can't be utilized as much at DL. (except from behind and above the castle) The perimeter effects at DL tend to be the vertical fountain/rockets -- able to be better used in the more intimate environment. The perimeter globular shells at WDW are fired from quite some distance outside the berm. At DL they are fired from backstage, but apparently not too far beyond the ring of buildings surrounding the hub. The WDW effects can thus be appreciated by a much wider audience, because most everyone is inside the ring, just about wherever you are in the park. At DL, you have to be closer to the hub to best appreciate the effect. Neither is automatically better. They are both cool.
