"Blacks" did not organize against same-sex marriage; various RELIGIOUS entities did. Let not the fact that most Mormons are white cause anyone to hurl insults at random white folk. Yes, non-whites are *generally* more opposed to same-sex relationships than are other groups. I'm sure there are myriad reasons for this, but it's beside the point here. Homosexuality occurs in all cultures & colors--thank goodness, it means I get to date some beautiful people! Uh. Where was I?
