    That is what Universal did with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. They used the original canon characters and worked with J. K. Rowling to come up with a new story for the ride incorperating a lot of the settings people want to see.

    How many people other than you & me got the reference to Rudolph? Every time I hear that word I hear it with that timing - INdePENdant (sound of Christmas tree balls clacking - CLACK clickCLACK CLACK).

    That was the problem with Pinnochio. No one goes on it because it tells the story of the film. Are you listening Tony Baxter?
    However other film based rides work fine. Witness Peter Pan, Mister Toad and Alice in Wonderland.
