Maybe they're waitin' for the official statements about me as the final "okay" to print it and then discuss any pay, but really, doin' this, my shirt, and my gift for her are a labor of love. I'm such a fan of her talent and her spreading the gift of laughter that simply having my words about her career printed is pay enough! But if they want to, I wouldn't refuse, Lol. And length, hmmmm...I honestly can't remember, LOL. It's either a little over 1 page in Word, or a little over 2. I wanna say 1, so it's probably 2, lol. I dunno about the press pass thing...I haven't heard from other fans about there being any local articles or coverage like that for her shows, or heard any mentions of newspaper reporters/media on the scene.

She's playin' there the night before this show, and I e-mailed and called them about the article too, but they said "We got it, thanks, but we're probably gonna go with somebody more local." So I was a little hurt at the rejection since I poured myself and lots of Vicki facts into it, but oh well---can't please 'em all. <SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR?!?!?> LOL! Funny you should ask...I'm designing up my own t-shirt for the event. I can't have it printed due to the concept, and I'm too afraid to try iron-ons, which I don't think would really work either (and I can't afford to screw up). So what I'm gonna do is draw up a house divided into rooms in light pencil on a tan t-shirt, bolden it with black marker, put "Mama's Family" above the house (or in the roof), and a picture of each cast member "inside"---one in each room. If you're familiar with the show's opening, you know they have the individual credits as a photo of each actor dressed in character inside a picture frame with the actor's name on screen, and the screen "block rotates" to the right to show each one in rotation. I have a picture of the title too, so I may put that in where the title would be---we'll see. Oh, and I guess jeans and sneaks. Lol

He's right, once the article hits the presses, *BAM*--I'm permanently published! And it'll be great to have hard evidence if I wanna try to get another piece done somewhere! WEEEEEEEE!! I love the happiness in this thread! :-D <---still on Cloud 9 nine hours later
