ALDS Rays over Rangers-The Rays right now are a hot team. The Rangers are a good club and capable of making another series run but I'm going with the hot team. Rays in 4. Tigers over the Yankees-Yes once again the Yankees have highest payroll and are just loaded. But the Tigers have Justin Verlander. He'll pitch the Tigers to a victories in Game 1 and 5. Tigers in 5 ALCS Tigers over Rays-The Rays run comes to end as the Tigers behind Verlander win the ALCS in 6. NLDS Phillies over Cardinals-Like the Rays the Cards are one of the hottest teams in Baseball. Unlike the Rays the Cardinals have to face the Phillies going against Halladay and Lee(if that's not correct let me know)in Games 1 and 2 while their best pitcher Chris Carpenter wouldn't be ready until Game 3. Phillies in 4 Brewers over Diamondbacks-Homefield means more to the Brewers than any other team this year. 57-24 at home 39-42 on the road. And while they don't have the pitching staff the Phillies do it might be the second best in all the playoffs with Gallardo, Greinke and Marcum. Through in a very solid Randy Wolf. And maybe the best bullpen since the All-Star Break. Then throw in Braun and Fielder who have carried this team all year with key contributions from Corey Hart, a getting healthier Ricky Weeks and Nyjer Morgan aka Tony Plush aka Tony Tombstone you have a team that can make some noise. Brewers in 4 NLCS *Phillies over Brewers-Everything I mentioned above makes the Brewers a team that can not only play with the Phillies but beat them. However the one key factor is they don't have home field advantage. True they did take 2 of 3 earlier in the year from Philly but then Philly took 3 of 4 earlier this month. I think both teams match up pretty well but in the end the Phillies in 7. *I hope this is a reverse jinx. World Series Phillies over Tigers-The Phillies were the best team in baseball this year and they'll close the deal with their 2nd title in 4 years. Phillies in 6.

Sunday gets tricky Packers start at 3:15, Brewers start at 3:37. I'm thinking two tv's side by side. Watch both at the same time.

It will be a busy weekend in South Philly for sure. My two oldest are very excited. I'm taking my 6yo to his first regular season Eagles game on Sunday. He's only been to preseason so he'll get to experience the full madness of an Eagles game. And I told my 9yo that he's old enough now that we'll let him stay up later on school nights to watch the Phillies in the playoffs.
