This year I am not buying a shirt until we win the World Series even though there are a lot of good looking AL champ shirts out there. I'm doing what I can. ;) Go Rangers!!!

BTW - Longhorn, I am not a sir. I'm also over 40 so I tend to be forgetful. Yes, I totally forgot about those Cotton Bowl years. Of course, that was before I really followed them.

NCAA Tourney-UConn wins the Big East tourney, gets a 3 or 4 seed(can't remember) then goes on to winn the NCAA tourney. Mavericks are the three seed(again don't quote me on this) but are playing higher seeds along the way. And now the Cardinals are following that script so far. And another thing these teams had in common is at some point in their season they were looking very likely that they might not make the postseason.

Me and a friend of mine just simmed the first game of the World Series and the Rangers came out on top 5-0, though it was a 1-0 game until the 8th inning.

Sometimes I forget to change my attitude when I come on this site. I was just being an ass.

Maybe so, but they're still called the DALLAS Cowgirls, so I have no use for them. Dallas is anathema to me. As is Jerry Jones.

Oh, but I dig Miles Austin - he's on my fantasy team and helped me win last week just like he will be doing this week. :D

Yeah, and at the start of the preseason, my friend Rob was celebrating his Phillies' upcoming World Series title.

Not feeling like the Rangers are going to win at the moment...
